Amy Callon
Risk Insurance Consultant Financial Adviser
I'm lucky.
People can take years searching for their calling, but not me. I've been in insurance my entire career, starting with an administrative role at 19. An early start in the industry I love has given me the gift of learning from the best, evolving as the sector grew and changed.
My experiences helping clients over the years taught me the importance of having the right cover at the right time. Insurance became deeply personal when my father had a stroke – as I helped my own family navigate the claim process, I witnessed firsthand the impact insurance has on families during their most vulnerable moments.
I understand what really matters at claim time.
Claims are where insurance proves its worth. And I'll be there with you when that time comes, because I know how confusing and stressful it can be.
I have previously worked alongside Glen and Nimalka in an administrative role, working behind the scenes helping the lads communicate with their clients throughout the process including applying for insurance, annual reviews and most importantly at claim time.
When I’m not working in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends; hosting countless BBQ’s with my partner as well as supporting my family where I can.
How We Help Families & Small Businesses
We Start by Listening. At New Vision, we are privileged to assist over 1,500 New Zealanders with their backup plans. While many advisers lead with products, we lead with questions. What keeps you awake at 3am? What would happen to your family if you couldn't work? What does "financial security" actually mean to you?
You Stay In Control. When we work together, I'm your co-pilot, highlighting the traps and pitfalls while you make the decisions that are right for your family.
We Go Beyond Just Insurance. Getting your affairs in order might mean finally getting that Will sorted, setting up a Family Trust, creating a comprehensive risk management strategy, or coordinating with other financial experts who have your best interests at heart. We look at risk management holistically, bringing together the right experts at the right time to suit your goals.
The Result? Real Peace of Mind. When life gets chaotic (and it will), you'll have a backup plan that actually stacks up. You'll know exactly what you're covered for, why you have it, and how to use it when you need it most.
Why You Need A Backup That Stacks Up
Life is by nature chaotic - otherwise you wouldn't need insurance. But through careful planning you can achieve some order and certainty in times of stress and need. That's not a problem to solve; it's reality to plan for.
Let us help you create order in the chaos.
Ready to Have a Real Conversation?
No sales pitch. No pressure. Just an honest discussion about what matters most to you and your family.
